โรงเรียนพรหมคีรีพิทยาคมได้เล็งเห็นว่า การจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนแบบโครงงานเรื่อง “โคมไฟบล็อกพราว” โดยมี นายธวัช เพชรโกมล เป็นที่ปรึกษาโครงงาน นับว่าเป็นโครงงานที่น่าชื่นชม ในความสำเร็จของนักเรียน ที่รู้จักนำเศษวัสดุ(กะลามะพร้าว) มาประดิษฐ์เป็นโคมไฟ สำหรับใช้งาน มีความสวยงามคงทน เป็นการฝึกฝนให้นักเรียนมีการวางแผนในการทำงาน ใช้เวลาว่างให้เป็นประโยชน์ แสดงให้เห็นถึง ความพยายาม และตั้งใจจริง มีความอดทน โดยยึดหลักเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง นำความรู้ที่ได้มาปรับใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน
