โครงงานวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์

โครงงานวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาขนาดของไม้กวาดว่าขนาดใดมีประสิทธิภาพในการทำความสะอาดได้ดีที่สุด และให้ผู้เรียนศึกษาวิธีการดำเนินการทางคณิตศาสตร์ ในเรื่องการนำสถิติมาเกี่ยวข้องและเพื่อให้ผู้เรียนได้ทำการทดลองวางแผนตรรกะและพิสูจน์สิ่งต่างๆตามความถนัดและความสนใจ ซึ่งมีขั้นตอนการดำเนินคือ 1)ศึกษาเรื่องมุมในทางคณิตศาสตร์ 2)ศึกษาเรื่องการทำไม้กวาด 3)ประดิษฐ์ไม้กวาดโดยเทียบกับมุมต่างๆ 4)นำไปให้กลุ่มตัวอย่างทดลองใช้และวัดระดับความพึงพอใจในการใช้ไม้กวาด
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การใช้ไม้กวาดที่มีมุมขนาด 120 องศา มีประสิทธิภาพในการทำความสะอาดได้ดีที่สุด และมุมขนาด 90 องศา มีประสิทธิภาพปานกลางและขนาด 60 องศามีประสิทธิภาพในการทำความสะอาดน้อยที่สุด
