หาดแม่รำพึง เป็นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่สำคัญแห่งหนึ่งของจังหวัดระยอง อยู่ห่างจากตัวเมืองประมาณ 11 กิโลเมตร จากถนนสุขุมวิท มีทางแยกขวาที่กิโลเมตร 229 เลียบเข้าชายหาด เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของอุทยานแห่งชาติ เขาแหลมหญ้า ตั้งอยู่ห่างจากที่ทำการอุทยาน 500 เมตร ห่างจาก บ้านเพประมาณ 6 กิโลเมตร ตัวหาดทรายขาวสะอาดอยู่ฝั่งแผ่นดินใหญ่ ถือเป็นหาดที่ยาวที่สุดของฝั่งทะเลด้านตะวันออก มีความยาว 12 กิโลเมตร สุดหาดเป็นที่ตั้งของบ้านก้นอ่าวอันเป็นที่ตั้งของหมู่บ้านชาวประมงพื้นบ้าน ในอดีตบ้านก้นอ่าวเป็นหมู่บ้านที่ไกลที่สุด และมีลักษณะเป็นอ่าวเล็กๆ จึงเรียกกันว่า บ้านก้นอ่าว ถนนเลียบชายหาดมีความยาว 10 กิโลเมตร มีที่พักและร้านอาหารทะเลมากมายไว้บริการนักท่องเที่ยว

จุดชมวิวที่น่าสนใจ แห่งหนึ่งของหาดแม่รำพึงคือ ลานหินขาว ตั้งอยู่ระหว่างกลางของหาด มีการจัดวางสวนหินไว้อย่างสวยงาม ไว้สำหรับนั่งพักผ่อน โดยเฉพาะยามเย็นจะเห็นนักท่องเที่ยวแวะมานั่งเล่นมากมายรวมทั้งชาวบ้านในแถบนี้เองด้วย
