ดำเนินการโดยใช้รูปแบบการศึกษาจากแหล่งข้อมูลทุติยภูมิ ซึ่งได้มาจากการค้นคว้าข้อมูลจาก บทความ เอกสารวิชาการ รวมทั้งเว็บไซต์ เป็นต้น โดยนำผลที่ได้มาทำการเปรียบเทียบและวิเคราะห์ความแตกต่าง ผลการวิจัย พบว่า การขนส่งทางบก หรือทางถนน มีทั้งข้อดี และข้อเสีย
1. พัฒนาโครงข่ายทางถนนที่เพิ่มมากขึ้น ทั้งในประเทศไปยังประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน
2. เป็นจุดเชื่อมโยงระบบขนส่งสินค้าหลักของประเทศไทย
