มิจฉาชีพจะใช้อีเมลหลอกลวงซึ่งอ้างว่าส่งมาจากธนาคาร เพื่อสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนตัวเกี่ยวกับบัตรเครดิตของท่าน โดยแอบอ้างว่าให้ท่านส่งข้อมูลดังกล่าวกลับไปยังธนาคารเพื่อยืนยันการจัดส่งใบแจ้งยอดใช้จ่ายบัตรเครดิตให้ทางอีเมล
