การทำโครงเรื่องในครั้งนี้ซึ่งในสมัยก่อนนั้นเป็นการนำผลไม้หรือวัตถุดิบต่างๆมาประกอบเป็นอาหารหรือขนมมากมาย เนื่องจากบริโภคในครัวเรือนแล้วยังมีการนำไปขายเพื่อหารายได้ให้กับตนเองและครอบครัวอีกด้วย ในปัจจุบันขนมไทยหาทานยากมาก เพราะเดี๋ยวนี้มีพวกขนมเค้กหรือโดนัทมาจำหน่ายมากขึ้นผู้คนเลยหันไปบริโภคขนมพวกนั้นแทนและเพราะขนมไทยมีวิธีการทำที่ซับซ้อนและหาวัตถุดิบที่ยุ่งยาก อีกทั้งมีการรับวัฒนธรรมการบริโภคมาจากต่างประเทศจึงมีส่วนทำให้ขนมไทยเริ่มหายากยิ่งขึ้น โครงงานนี้ ผู้จัดทำหวังว่าจะมีผู้นำไปศึกษาและเพื่อการจำหน่ายด้านขนมไทยยังคงอยู่ต่อไปและเพื่อให้รู้จักขั้นตอนและวิธีการทำขนมไทย(เม็ดขนุน) อย่างถูกวิธี ซึ่งขนมจะมีความหอมของน้ำลอยดอกมะลิและความมันของกะทิ และความหวานของน้ำตาลทราย พอทานเข้าไปแล้วนุ่มลิ้น การทำขนมไทย(เม็ดขนุน)ถ้ามีการนำวัตถุดิบที่มีอยู่มาดัดแปลง จากที่มันเป็นสีเหลืองมาแต่ก่อนแล้วนำมามาดัดแปลงให้มีสีสันสวยงาม อาจทำให้ผู้บริโภคหันมารับประทานมากยิ่งขึ้น ผู้จัดทำได้นำความรู้ที่ใช้ในการศึกษามาประยุกต์ใช้กับโครงงานวิชาชีพในครั้งนี้ โดยนำทฤษฏีทางการตลาดและอื่นๆที่เกี่ยวข้องมาเป็นแนวทางการทำโครงงาน ให้สำหรับผู้ที่สนใจ
ข้อเสนอแนะ
จากการศึกษาการจัดทำขนมไทยเพื่อส่งเสริมอาชีพขนมเม็ดขนุนโครงงานนี้สามารถพัฒนามาเป็นวัตถุดิบอื่น ที่หาซื้อได้งานตามท้องตลาดอีกทั้งการใช้สีผสมอาหารมาผสมกับขนมเม็ดขนุนอีกด้วย เพื่อให้มีความแตกต่างไปจากเดิมและน่ารับประทานมากยิ่งขึ้น และหวังเพื่อให้ผู้คนหันมาบริโภคขนมไทยเม็ดขนุนเพิ่มมากขึ้น
