2.1.3 เศรษฐกิจภาคอุตสาหกรรม
ข้อมูลสำนักงานอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดปราจีนบุรี พบว่า มีโรงงานที่ได้รับอนุญาตให้ประกอบกิจการ (สะสม) ณ วันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2557 จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 833 โรงงาน เงินลงทุนทั้งสิ้น 171,559.69 ล้านบาท จำนวนแรงม้าทั้งหมด 3,051,987 แรงม้า และมีการจ้างงานรวม 94,005 คน แยกเป็นแรงงานชาย 43,156 คน และแรงงานหญิง 50,849 คน เป็นโรงงานจำพวก 3 ทั้งสิ้น 785 โรง และโรงงานจำพวกที่ 2ซึ่งต้องแจ้งการประกอบกิจการจำนวน 48 โรง ทั้งนี้ โรงงานดังกล่าวตั้งอยู่ในเขตอำเภอกบินทร์บุรี จำนวน 297 โรง (ร้อยละ 36.65) รองลงมาอยู่ในอำเภอศรีมหาโพธิ์ จำนวน 284 โรง (ร้อยละ 34.09) และอำเภอเมือง จำนวน 99 โรง (ร้อยละ 11.44)
นอกจากนี้ ในจังหวัดปราจีนบุรี มีเขตประกอบการอุตสาหกรรม และส่วนอุตสาหกรรม รวม 5 แห่ง คือ
1) เขตประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมกบินทร์บุรี มีพื้นที่ 2,068 ไร่ จำนวนโรงงาน 27 โรง
2) เขตประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมปราจีนบุรี อินดัสเทรียลปาร์ค มีพื้นที่ 1,436 ไร่
3) ส่วนอุตสาหกรรมสหพัฒนาอินเตอร์โฮลดิ้ง อำเภอกบินทร์บุรี มีพื้นที่ 2,068 ไร่ จำนวน โรงงาน 27 โรง
4) ส่วนอุตสาหกรรม 304 อินดัสเทรียลปาร์ค อำเภอศรีมหาโพธิ์ มีพื้นที่ 7,500 ไร่ จำนวน โรงงาน 75 โรง
5) ส่วนอุตสาหกรรมโรจนะ อินดัสเทรียล เมเนจเมนต์ อำเภอศรีมหาโพธิ์ มีพื้นที่ 3,998 ไร่ จำนวนโรงงาน 10 โรง
