2. การก่อตั้งสำนักงานคณะกรรมการคุ้มครองผู้บริโภค สังกัดสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี
อำนาจหน้าที่ของคณะกรรมการคุ้มครองผู้บริโภคคือ
1. พิจารณาเรื่องราวร้องทุกข์จากผู้บริโภคที่ได้รับความเดือดร้อนหรือเสียหาย เนื่องมาจากการกระทำของผู้ประกอบธุรกิจ
