ต่อมาได้อุปสมบทเป็นพระภิกษุสงฆ์ เมื่อวันที่ 10 พ.ค. 2537 ณ พัทธสีมาวัดครึ่งใต้ โดยมีพระสุนทรปริยัติวิธาน เจ้าคณะ จ.เชียงราย เป็นพระอุปัชฌาย์ และจบการศึกษา พ.ศ. 2543 ป.ธ.9 สำนักวัดเบญจมบพิตรดุสิตวนาราม ในปีเดียวกันก็จบ ศษ.บ. มหาวิทยาลัยสุโขทัยธรรมาธิราช พ.ศ. 2546 จบ พธ.ม. มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย กรุงเทพ
