โครงงานเรื่อง การเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการดูดซับน้ำมันของกระดาษจากธูปฤาษีด้วยไคโตซานและถ่านกัมมันต์ จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อศึกษาการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพดูดซับน้ำมันของกระดาษจากธูปฤๅษีด้วย ไคโตซานและถ่านกัมมันต์ และศึกษาคุณสมบัติทางกายภาพของกระดาษดูดซับน้ำมันจากธูปฤๅษีที่ผลิตเองชนิดต่าง ๆ โดยจะแบ่งการทดลอง เป็น 2 ตอน ดังนี้
ตอนที่ 1 ศึกษาอัตราส่วนที่เหมาะสมของการใช้ดอกและต้นธูปฤๅษีในผลิตกระดาษดูดซับน้ำมัน พบว่ากระดาษดูดซับน้ำมันจากต้นธูปฤๅษีที่ใช้ดอกธูปฤๅษีร้อยละ 40 มีความสามารถในการดูดซับน้ำมันมากที่สุด เพิ่มความสามารถจากแรงดึงกระดาษด้วย และรองลงมาคือ ร้อยละ 30 และร้อยละ 20 ตามลำดับ และจากการทดลองทำให้ทราบว่าปริมาณดอกธูปฤๅษีมีผลต่อความสามารถในการดูดซับน้ำมัน
