ภาควิชาวิศวกรรมเคมี คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ได้มีการจัดปฐมนิเทศนิสิตระดับปริญญาบัณฑิตและระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาในทุกๆปีการศึกษา เพื่อเป็นการทำความรู้จักและคุ้นเคยระหว่าง อาจารย์ เจ้าหน้าที่และนิสิต และยังเป็นการอธิบายส่วนของหลักสูตร สถานที่ และวิธีการดำเนินงานต่างๆของภาวิชาวิศวกรรมเคมี
