บทคัดย่อ
ริ้นฝอยทรายเป็นแมลงพาหะที่สำคัญในการนำโรคลิชมาเนีย ซึ่งปัจจุบันในประเทศไทยพบการระบาดของโรคนี้อย่างต่อเนื่องและมีแนวโน้มที่จะเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างเรื่อยๆ โดยผู้ป่วยส่วนใหญ่จะอาศัยอยู่ใกล้กับแนวติดต่อระหว่างประเทศ การศึกษาวิจัยในครั้งนี้จึงเป็นการตรวจหาชนิดและความหนาแน่นของประชากรริ้นฝอยทรายในเขตพื้นที่ท่าสองยาง จังหวัดตาก โดยทำการเก็บตัวอย่างริ้นฝอยทรายโดยวิธี CDC light trap และ rotating traps ในระยะเวลา 3 เดือนตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม – เมษายน 2558 ผลการศึกษาพบริ้นฝอยทรายจำนวน….ตัวเป็นตัวเมีย….ตัวและตัวผู้…ตัว จำแนกได้ 2 สกุลได้แก่ PhlebotomusและSergentomyia ซึ่งพบทั้งหมด.….สปีชีย์ โดยพบSergentomyiaiyengariมากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ……….. คิดเป็นร้อยละ………ตามลำดับ โดยพบว่าริ้นฝอยทรายสกุล Phlebotomus ทั้งหมดและ Sergentomyiagemmeaสามารถเป็นพาหะนำโรคลิชมาเนียมาสู่คนได้ โดยการศึกษาครั้งนี้ชี้ให้เห็นว่า ริ้นฝอยทรายในเขตพื้นที่ท่าสองยาง จังหวัดตาก ที่สามารถเป็นพาหะของโรคลิชมาเนียพบได้อย่างชุกชุมในบริเวณต่างๆ ฉะนั้นการเฝ้าระวังโรคลิชมาเนียในพื้นที่ใกล้เคียงจึงมีความสำคัญและจำเป็นจะต้องสำรวจต่อไปเพื่อใช้ในการเฝ้าระวังและการควบคุมโรคอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
