มหิดลสิทธาคาร เป็นหอประชุมแห่งใหม่ของมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ซึ่งเมื่อวันที่ ๒๖ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๒ สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี ได้เสด็จพระราชดำเนินมาทรงวางศิลาฤกษ์ และต่อมาทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ พระราชทานชื่ออาคารดังกล่าวว่า “มหิดลสิทธาคาร” ซึ่งหมายถึง “อาคารที่มีความสำเร็จแห่งมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล” และเพื่อเป็นการเฉลิมพระเกียรติ สมเด็จพระมหิตลาธิเบศร อดุลยเดชวิกรม พระบรมราชชนก สภามหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลจึงมีมติให้ใช้ชื่อในภาษาอังกฤษว่า “Prince Mahidol Hall” เป็นอาคารที่สร้างขึ้นเพื่อใช้ในพิธีพระราชทานปริญญาบัตรของมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล และใช้ในการจัดกิจกรรมที่หลากหลาย เช่น การแสดงละคร ดนตรี ศิลปวัฒนธรรมต่างๆ การประชุมสัมมนา ทั้งในระดับชาติและนานาชาติ
