ข้อ ๕ การตรวจสอบคุณภาพดินตามข้อ ๓ และข้อ ๔ ให้ใช้วิธี Test Methods of Evaluating Solid Waste, Physical/Chemical Methods (SE-846) ขององค์การพิทักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมแห่งประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา (United States Environmental Protection Agency) ดังต่อไปนี้
(๑) การตรวจสอบคุณภาพดินตามข้อ ๓.๑ (๑) – (๑๕) และข้อ ๔.๑ (๑) – (๑๕) ให้ใช้วิธี Gas Chromatography หรือวิธี Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) หรือวิธีอื่นที่กรมควบคุมมลพิษเห็นชอบ
(๒) การตรวจสอบคุณภาพดินตามข้อ ๓.๒ (๑) และข้อ ๔.๒ (๑) ให้ใช้วิธี Inductively Coupled Plasma – Atomic Emission Spectrometry หรือวิธี Inductively Coupled Plasma – Mass Spectrometry หรือวิธี Atomic Absorption, Furnace Technique หรือวิธี Atomic Absorption, Gaseous Hydride หรือวิธี Atomic Absorption, Borohydride Reduction หรือวิธีอื่นที่กรมควบคุมมลพิษเห็นชอบ
(๓) การตรวจสอบคุณภาพดินตามข้อ ๓.๒ (๒) และข้อ ๔.๒ (๒) ให้ใช้วิธี Inductively Coupled Plasma – Atomic Emission Spectrometry หรือวิธี Inductively Coupled Plasma – Mass Spectrometry หรือวิธี Atomic Absorption, Direct Aspiration หรือวิธี Atomic Absorption, Furnace Technique หรือวิธีอื่นที่กรมควบคุมมลพิษเห็นชอบ
