ปัญหาการทิ้งขยะไม่ถูกที่ของนักทองเที่ยว ที่อ่าวคุ้งกระเบน จังหวัดจันทบุรี
จากการที่ได้ออกไปทำการศึกษาภาคสนามในวิชาความหลากหลายทางวีวภาพ เมื่อวันที่ 23-26 ตุลาคม 2557 เมื่อได้เดินทางไปศึกษาในป่าชายเลน สิ่งที่พบเห็นค่อนข้างมากคือเศษขยะ ที่ถูกทิ้งอยู่ตามพื้น เนื่องจากไม่มีถังขยะตามรายทาง จึงเกิดความสนใจที่จะทำการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการแก้ปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้น

ปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นคือ
1. นักท่องเที่ยวทิ้งขยะตามเส้นทางศึกษาธรรมชาติ
2. ขยะที่ถูกทิ้งทำลายทัศนียภาพที่ดีงามของสถานที่
3. เกิดปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมขึ้น

ทางแก้ปัญหาคือ
1. มีมาตรการการจัดการที่เข้มงวด เพื่อบังคับให้ทุกคนทำตามกฎ
2. มีบทลงโทษที่เข้มงวด และต้องใช้จริง เพื่อเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีให้แก่นักท่องเที่ยวคนอื่น
3. รณรงค์ห้ามทิ้งขยะในพื้นที่ เนื่องจากก่อให้เกิดปัญหาหลายอย่าง ทั้งปัญหาต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม และปัญหาต่อระบบนิเวศ
4. สร้างจิตสำนึกให้กับผู้ที่มาท่องเที่ยว โดยอาจจัดโครงการ เส้นทางปลอดขยะ รักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม
