Function Generator จะทำการสร้าง sine signal ขึ้นมาแล้วส่งออกผ่าน RF transmitter โดยสายอากาศ จากนั้น RF receiver ก็จะรับคลื่นสัญญาณนั้นมาแล้วนำไปวิเคราะห์ผ่าน Spectrum analyzer เพื่อให้ได้ spectrum ของสัญญาณในจุดความถี่ที่ต้องการ
