การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาร้อยละของนักศึกษาสาขาสถิติประยุกต์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี ที่มีความคิดเห็นต่อแนวทางการแก้ปัญหาการนำเสนอข่าวโทรทัศน์ที่ไม่เป็นกลางในปัจจุบัน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า แนวทางการแก้ปัญหาการนำเสนอข่าวโทรทัศน์ที่ไม่เป็นกลางในปัจจุบันที่ คือ 1) ผู้ดำเนินรายการข่าวโทรทัศน์ควรนำเสนอข่าวที่เป็นข้อเท็จจริงตรงไปตรงมาไม่ปกปิดข่าวหรือบิดเบือนข่าว 2) ผู้ดำเนินรายการข่าวโทรทัศน์ควรนำเสนอข่าวอย่างยุติธรรม ไม่ลำเอียง ไม่เข้าข้างฝ่ายใดฝ่ายหนึ่ง 3) ผู้ดำเนินรายการข่าวโทรทัศน์ไม่ควรแทรกแซงความคิดเห็นหรือความรู้สึกส่วนตัวลงไปในข่าวมากเกินไป และ 4) ผู้ดำเนินรายการข่าวโทรทัศน์ควรมีความซื่อสัตย์หรือจริยธรรม และจรรยาบรรณต่อวิชาชีพของตนเอง
