ปัญหาในงานพัฒนาชุมชน

การพัฒนาพัฒนาชุมชน คือ การพัฒนาความสามารถของประชาชนให้เกิดการช่วยเหลือตนเอง เพื่อนบ้านและชุมชนเพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตให้มีมาตรฐานความเป็นอยู่ดีขึ้น โดยการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชน งานพัฒนาชุมชน เป็นการทำงานร่วมกับชาวบ้านเพื่อทำให้ชุมชนเกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงในทางที่ดี เจริญขึ้นทั้งด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม การปกครอง โดยเกิดจากการพัฒนาแบบมีส่วนร่วมตามความต้องการของประชาชนเพื่อประโยชน์สุขของชุมชนเอง ดังนั้นการพัฒนาชุมชน จึงเป็นการทำให้กลุ่มคนดีขึ้น กระบวนการทำงานในกลุ่มยึดหลักการมี ส่วนร่วม

ปัจจุบันเมื่อพูดถึงปัญหาในการพัฒนาชุมชนปัญหาส่วนใหญ่เกิดขึ้นจากการไม่มีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนซึ่งมักได้ยินเสียงบ่น (เสียงดังมาก ) ออกมาว่า…. เขาไม่มีเวลามาร่วมประชุม …เขาไม่มีพาหนะ… เขาไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายในการเข้าร่วม… (อีกหลายประเด็น) สิ่งเหล่านี้เป็นปัญหาหนึ่งของงานพัฒนาชุมชน ซึ่งพอสรุปปัญหาได้ดังนี้
