โครงงานนี้เป็นการสร้างห้องประหยัดพลังงานเพื่อใช้ในการทดลองการลดใช้พลังงานน้ำมันหรือลดการใช้พลังงานไฟฟ้าโดยหันมาใช้พลังงานจากแผงโซล่าเซลล์หรือพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ นักศึกษาที่เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับหลักการทำห้องประหยัดพลังงานซึ่งเรียนในระดับชั้น ปวส ปีที่ 2 การเลือกใช้วัสดุอุปกรณ์ที่มีคุณภาพ เช่น แผงโซล่าเซลล์ หลอด LED อุปกรณ์ต่างๆเพื่อให้มีความเหมาะสมกับการทำห้องประหยัดพลังงาน
ผลการทดสอบห้องประหยัดพลังงานที่สร้างเสร็จสมบูรณ์สามารถประหยัดค่าใช้จ่าย ประหยัดพลังงานและส่งเสริมการอนุรักษ์พลังงานตามเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้
