After we checked the defect in the photo from customer with QC team, it was a wound defect on shrimp body that can be found at raw material. In a pond when lots of shrimps are fed together, there is high chance that shrimps will crash with each other causing a wound on their body. If the wound is deep, it is likely to develop black spots on meat.
Although our factory standard is 0% wound defect at raw material receiving, we believe that it could be from human error.
