จากการศึกษาสภาพปัญหาการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษในชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนชุมชนบ้านทุ่งนานางหรอก “เพ็ญชาติอุปถัมภ์” อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี พบว่านักเรียนไม่สามารถอ่านและเขียนสะกดคำภาษาอังกฤษได้ คนที่อ่านได้ก็มีจำนวนน้อยมาก จึงเป็นปัญหาส่งผลให้นักเรียนมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษต่ำ ด้วยเหตุนี้ ผู้วิจัยจึงสร้างแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านและการเขียนสะกดคำภาษาอังกฤษชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 เพื่อใช้ในการสอนอ่านและเขียนสะกดคำภาษาอังกฤษ ซึ่งจะทำให้ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนสูงขึ้นและเพื่อเป็นแนวทางการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษให้มีประสิทธิภาพต่อไป
