การศึกษาครั้งนี้เพื่อทราบพฤติกรรมการดูแลของผู้ปกครองที่มีผลต่อการเกิดโรคฟันผุของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 - 6 ในเขตรับผิดชอบของตำบลวังใหญ่ อำเภอวิเชียรบุรี จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ เป็นการศึกษาเชิงพรรณนา (Descriptive Research)ในการส่งเสริมสุขภาพผู้ปกครองนักเรียนมีส่วนสำคุญเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่จะช่วยเข้ามาลดอัตราการเกิดฟันผุในนักเรียน ได้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา วิเคราะห์หาค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ใช้สถิติ t-test, F-test และทำการเปรียบเทียบรายคู่ด้วยวิธีการทดสอบแบบ Least Significant Difference (LSD) ใช้ในการทดสอบสมมติฐาน
ผลการศึกษา ผบว่าผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามจำนวน 110 คน พฤติกรรมความรู้ของผู้ปกครองนักเรียนโดยรวมพฤติกรรมความรู้อยู่ในเกรฑ์ระดับมาก ( x = 0.96) ด้านพฤติกรรมความรู้สึกของผู้ปกครองนักเรียนรวมพฤติกรรมด้านความรู้สึกทั้งหมด อยู่ในเกณฑ์ระดับมาก ( x = 3.58) ด้านพฤติกรรมการปฏิบัติตนของผู้ปกครองนักเรียนด้านพฤติกรรมการปฏิบัติ อยู่ในเกณฑ์ระดับปานกลาง ( x = 3.20)
