บริษัทฯได้ชำระค่าตอบแทนการโอนสิทธิค่าเช่าและค่าบริการดังกล่าวจำนวนเงิน 40,000 ล้านบาท โดยชำระเป็นเงินสดจำนวน 7,800 ล้านบาท ในวันที่ 4 มกราคม 2549 และชำระเป็นตั๋วสัญญาใช้เงินด้อยสิทธิจำนวน 32,200 ล้านบาท ตั๋วสัญญาใช้เงินดังกล่าวไม่มีอัตราดอกเบี้ย บริษัทฯจะทยอยชำระคืนหนี้ตามตั๋วสัญญาใช้เงินดังกล่าวปีละหนึ่งครั้งจนครบทั้งจำนวนภายในปี 2581
