การเรียนปรับพื้นฐานภาษาอังกฤษและภาษาจีน
การเรียนปรับพื้นฐานภาษาอังกฤษ (ภาษาอังกฤษแบบเร่งรัด)
เนื่องจากมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงจัดการเรียนการสอนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการเตรียมความพร้อมทางด้านภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยจึงกำหนดให้ผู้ที่มีพื้นฐานภาษาอังกฤษต่ำกว่าเกณฑ์ที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนดจะต้องเรียนปรับพื้นฐานภาษาอังกฤษรายวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเร่งรัด (ภาษาอังกฤษแบบเร่งรัด) โดยมีค่าธรรมเนียมลงทะเบียนเรียนจำนวน 3600 บาทแต่สำหรับผู้ที่มีความรู้พื้นฐานภาษาอังกฤษผ่านตามเกณฑ์ที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนดจะได้รับการยกเว้นการเรียนรายวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเร่งรัด (ภาษาอังกฤษแบบเร่งรัด)
การเรียนภาษาจีนปรับพื้นฐานเฉพาะสาขาวิชาภาษาจีนธุรกิจเท่านั้น

ตำแหน่งจีนมหาวิทยาลัยจะจัดสอบเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมทางด้านภาษาจีนให้กับนักศึกษาสาขาวิชาภาษาจีนธุรกิจทุกคนโดยผู้ที่มีพื้นฐานภาษาจีนต่ำกว่ามาตรฐานที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนดจะต้องเรียนวิชาภาษาจีนเพิ่มเติมซึ่งจะต้องเสียค่าธรรมเนียมในการลงทะเบียนเรียนหน่วยกิตละ 600 บาทสำหรับผู้ที่มีความรู้พื้นฐานและสอบผ่านตามเกณฑ์ที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนดจะได้รับการยกเว้นตามเกณฑ์ทดสอบ
