การสร้างชั้นข้อมูลภูมิสารสนเทศเพื่อตรวจสอบแปลงที่ดินอ้างเอกสารสิทธิ์ในพื้นที่อุทยานแห่งชาติ พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๗ กรณีศึกษา อุทยานแห่งชาติแหลมสน จังหวัดระนองและพังงา มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้ทราบถึงขั้นตอน และวิธีการสร้างชั้นข้อมูลภูมิสารสนเทศเพื่อตรวจสอบแปลงที่ดินอ้างเอกสารสิทธิ์ในพื้นที่อุทยานแห่งชาติ เพื่อจัดทำฐานข้อมูลการตรวจสอบแปลงที่ดินอ้างเอกสารสิทธิ์เพื่อใช้ในการบริหารจัดการอุทยานแห่งชาติแหลมสน และเพื่อจัดทำแผนที่แสดงพื้นที่บุกรุกของพื้นที่ป่าอนุรักษ์ของอุทยานแห่งชาติแหลมสน จังหวัดระนองและพังงา โดยรวบรวมรายงานการตรวจสอบแปลงที่ดินอ้างเอกสารสิทธิ์ ของอุทยานแห่งชาติแหลมสน จังหวัดระนองและพังงา ในปีงบประมาณ 2557 มาสร้างชั้นข้อมูลภูมิสารสนเทศของตำแหน่งของแปลงที่ดินที่มีการอ้างเอกสารสิทธิ์ ด้วยโปรแกรม ArcGIS ๙.๓ ด้วยคำสั่ง Add XY Data และการสร้างชั้นข้อมูลภูมิสารสนเทศของพื้นที่หรือขอบเขตของแปลงตรวจสอบ ด้วยโปรแกรม ArcGIS ๙.๓ ด้วยเครื่องมือ Arc Toolbox และเลือกใช้โปรแกรม Google Earth เพื่อศึกษาการจัดการพื้นที่อุทยานแห่งชาติ โดยนำเข้าข้อมูลแผนที่ที่มี การนำเข้าข้อมูล GIS และใช้โปรแกรมที่เกี่ยวข้องเช่น GE_path ,GE_Graph เพื่อใช้ในการคำนวณพื้นที่ เส้นทางและแสดงผลในรูปแผนภูมิสามมิติบน Google Earth ผลการศึกษาจากการนำเข้าข้อมูลภูมิศาสตร์สารสนเทศ (GIS) และค่าพิกัดจากระบบสำรวจหาตำแหน่งพื้นโลกด้วยดาวเทียม (GPS) ในเขตอุทยานแห่งชาติแหลมสน บน Google Earth แล้วนำผลที่ได้ไปใช้เป็นข้อมูลในการตัดสินใจในการวิเคราะห์พื้นที่เสี่ยงต่อการบุกรุก และซ้อนทับแผนที่ของกรมแผนที่ทหารบกในสเกล 1 : 50,000 เต็มพื้นที่อุทยานแห่งชาติแหลมสน จังหวัดระนองและพังงา พร้อมทั้งสามารถแสดงผลข้อมูลด้านการบกรุก บนภูมิประเทศในรูปแบบ 3 มิติ ได้ บน Google Earth ทำให้เกิดความชัดเจนในการประกอบการพิจารณาพื้นที่เสี่ยง และสามารถใช้งานได้ดีในเชิงสาธารณะบน Google Earth
