โครงการถไฟสายใหมสาย เดนชัย-เชียงราย-เชียงของ คือ โครงการพัฒนาโครงขายทาง

จังหวัดเชียงรายถือเปนจังหวัดที่มพื้นที่ติดกับประเทศเพื่อนบาน มีระยะทางยาว
308 กิโลเมตร โดยแบงเปนแนวเขตชายแดนติดตอกับประเทศพมา ดานอําเภอแมจัน แมสาย แมฟาหลวง
และเชียงแสน รวม 153 กิโลเมตร แนวชายแดนติดตอกับสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว มี
