4 เดือนที่ผ่านมา มีข่าวที่น่าตกใจอย่างมากลงอยู่ตามโซเชี่ยวต่างๆเยอะไปหมด นั่นก็คือ สายการบินไทยเตรียมปลดพนักงามากกว่า1400 ตำแหน่ง ซึ่งพอเห็นข่าวนี้แล้วก็รู้สึกตกใจว่าทำไมถึงต้องปลดพนักงานออกมากขนาดนี้ ทั้งๆที่สายการบินไทยก็เป็นสายการบินที่มีคนนิยมใช้บริการอยู่มาก จนได้ไปหาข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมจึงได้รู้สาเหตุว่าทำไมถึงต้องปลดพนักงานออก คือ เนื่องจากมีการขาดทุนอย่างหนัก จึงมีแผนที่จะปรับโครงสร้างใหม่ คือ มีเป้าหมายจะลดค่าใช้จ่ายในการดำเนินการและลดต้นทุนลงให้ได้ 20 เปอร์เซ็น ภายในระยะเวลา 2 ปี และสาเหตุที่ทำให้ขาดทุนก็คือ หนึ่ง อาจจะเพราะในหนึ่งเที่ยวบินที่บินผู้โดยสารอาจจะน้อยจึงทำให้ไม่คุ้มค่าของน้ำมันที่บินไป สอง อาจจะเพราะเดี๋ยวนี้มีสายการบินให้เลือกมากแถมยังราคาถูกกว่าการบินไทยด้วย คนจึงหันไปเลือกใช้สายการบินอื่น เพราะจากที่หาข้อมูลและหาอ่านตามคอมเม้นในกระทู้มาได้ความว่าราคาตั๋วชั้นประหยัดของสายการบินไทยราคาเทียบเท่ากับชั้นธุรกิจของสายการบินอื่น อาจจะเพราะสาเหตุนี้ด้วยคนส่วนใหญ่จึงหันไปเลือกใช้บริการสายการบินอื่นและสาม การบริการของสายการบินไทย ในความคิดของฉันสายการบินไทยต้องเป็นสายการบินที่มีการบริการที่ดีมากๆแต่เมื่อพอได้ไปอ่านในกระทู้จึงพบว่า ไม่ใช่อย่างที่คิดเพราะมีคนมาแสดงความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการบริการเยอะมาก ว่าพนักงานแย่พูดจาไม่สุภาพเมื่อเทียบกับสายการบินอื่น ผู้คนจึงไม่อยากใช้บริการ และ สี่ อาจจะเพราะมีพนักงานเยอะและแต่ละตำแหน่งเงินเดือนเดือนนึงก็รวมๆแล้วประมาณ 6 หลักอย่างเช่น นักบิน ช่างซ่อมบำรุงต่างๆ แอร์โฮสเตส ทางสายการบินถึงต้องลดค่าใช้จ่ายเหล่านี้โดยการปลดพนักงานออกจำนวนมาก
