ปัจจุบันนักศึกษาภายในเขตมหาวิทยาลัย

ปัจจุบันนักศึกษาภายในเขตมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นมีแนวโน้วเพิ่มสูงขึ้น ทางมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นจึงได้มีการจัดทำบริการรถขนส่งภายในเขตมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อบริการนักศึกษาและบุคคลากรภายในมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นลดจำนวนพาหนะและทำให้การจราจรไม่ติดขัด วัตถุประสงค์ของการศึกษานี้เพื่อศึกษาและวิเคราะห์ความต้องการใช้งานของผู้ใช้บริการรถขนส่งมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นโดยศึกษาจำนวนความต้องการใช้บริการตามช่วงเวลา เพื่อปรับปรุงให้สอดคล้องและเกิดประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด ลดปัญหาการจราจรและลดค่าใช้จ่ายที่ไม่จำเป็น จากการใช้โปรแกรมอารีน่าเป็นตัวการในการจำลองรูปแบบที่คาดว่าเหมาะสม ซึ่งระบบขนส่งที่ศึกษาประกอบไปด้วยรถบริการจำนวน 4 สาย คือ สายสีแดง สายสีเหลือง สายสีน้ำเงิน สายสีส้ม โดยปัจจัยที่นำมาศึกษา มี 3 ปัจจัยคือ ช่วงเวลาการใช้บริการของนักศึกษา ช่วงเวลาที่อยากให้มีการเพิ่มความถี่ของการบริการ และการบริการที่เพียงพอต่อความต้องการ โดยเก็บข้อมูลจากแบบสอบถาม 400 ชุด จากผู้ใช้บริการจริง ผลจากแบบสอบถามพบว่า ช่วงเวลาการใช้บริการของนักศึกษาคือช่วง 8.00-9.00 น. 12.00-13.00 น. และ 16.00-17.00 น.และเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามอยากให้มีการเพิ่มรอบบริการมากที่สุด
