การศึกการพยากรณ์แนวโน้มการส่งออกกุ้งสดแช่แข็งของไทยโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาแนวโน้มการส่งออกกุ้งสดแช่แข็งของประเทศไทยในตลาดโลก การศึกษาครั้งนี้ได้ใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณโดยใช้เครื่องมือในการวิเคราะห์ คือ การวิเคราะห์อนุกรมเวลา (Time Series Analysis) โดยใช้เทคนิคการแยกส่วนประกอบ (Seasonal Decomposition) ซึ่งใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิเป็นรายเดือน อยู่ระหว่างเดือนมกราคม ปี 2548 ถึงเดือนธันวาคม ปี 2557 จำนวนทั้งหมด 120 ชุดข้อมูล ผลการศึกษาพบว่าภาพรวมจากการพยากรณ์พบว่าแนวโน้มการส่งออกกุ้งสดแช่แข็งของไทยในอนาคตอีก 3 ปีข้างหน้าตั้งแต่ปี 2558 – 2560 จะมีแนวโน้มการส่งออกที่ยังผันผวนแต่ก็มีมูลค่าที่เพิ่มขึ้นจากปี 2557 เนื่องจากสภาวะที่เกิดจากการเกิดโรคตายด่วนของกุ้งได้ฟื้นตัวขึ้นอัตราการรอดของกุ้งจึงค่อยๆเพิ่มขึ้นทำให้มูลค่าการส่งออกมีแนวโน้มที่ดีขึ้น โดยที่ช่วงเวลาที่มีการส่งออกมากที่สุดจะอยู่ในช่วงเดือนมิถุนายนจนถึงเดือนพฤศจิกายนในขณะที่เดือนธันวาคมจนถึงเดือนพฤษภาคมอิทธิพลของฤดูกาลทำให้ช่วงนี้ไม่สามารถผลิตออกมาได้เต็มที่
