การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง แรงและการเคลื่อนที่ โดยใช้วิธีการสอนแบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 5E กับวิธีการสอนแบบวัฏจักร 7 ขั้นตอน และความพึงพอใจที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียน มีประชากร คือ นักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 จำนวน 2 ห้อง จำนวนนักเรียน 56 คน ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2558 โรงเรียนองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ ซึ่งได้มาโดยการเลือกแบบสุ่มแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ 1.แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 5E เรื่อง แรงและการเคลื่อนที่ จำนวน 4 แผน จำนวน 6 ชั่วโมง 2.แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบวัฏจักร 7 ขั้นตอน เรื่อง แรงและการเคลื่อนที่ จำนวน 4 แผน จำนวน 6 ชั่วโมง 3. แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนก่อน-หลังเรียน 4. แบบวัดความพึงพอใจของนักเรียน มีการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยนำคะแนนที่ได้จากแบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน และแบบวัดความพึงพอใจของนักเรียน มาหาค่าเฉลี่ย ( X ) ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) ค่าร้อยละของคะแนนเต็ม และค่าสถิติ t-test
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผลการเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง แรงและการ
เคลื่อนที่ โดยใช้วิธีการสอนแบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 5E กับวิธีการสอนแบบวัฏจักร 7 ขั้นตอน จำนวน 2 ห้อง วิธีการสอนแบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 5E มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 6.39 ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานเท่ากับ 1.54 มีคะแนนก่อนเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนที่มีนัยสำคัญ 0.01 วิธีการสอนแบบแบบวัฏจักร 7 ขั้นตอน มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 6.74 ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานเท่ากับ 0.78 มีคะแนนก่อนเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนที่มีนัยสำคัญ 0.01 และนักเรียนร้อยละ 82.56 ถือว่านักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับดี
