การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณา (Descriptive Research) เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการดูแลตนเองของผู้ป่วยโรคความดันโลหิตสูงที่มารับบริการที่โรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบล ซับน้อย ตำบลวังไทร อำเภอปากช่อง จังหวัดนครราชสีมา กลุ่มตัวอย่างคัดเลือกแบบเจาะจง (Purposive sampling) จำนวน 150 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถาม (Questionnaires) ค่าดัชนีความสอดคล้อง (IOC) ค่าความเชื่อมั่น (Reliability) ได้เท่ากับ 1 และ 0.80 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ จำนวนร้อยละ, ค่าเฉลี่ย, ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน, สถิติเชิงอนุมาน, ทดสอบสมมติฐานหาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวแปรอิสระ และตัวแปรตาม โดยใช้สถิติค่าไคสแควร์ (Chi – square test) และสถิติสัมประสิทธิ์ สหสัมพันธ์เพียร์สัน (Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient)
ผลการศึกษา พบว่า พฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพตนเองของผู้ป่วยโรคความดันโลหิตสูงอยู่ในระดับ ปานกลาง (x ̅ = 30.09, SD 3.53) ปัจจัยด้านพันธุกรรม ด้านการได้รับข้อมูลข่าวสารมีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการการดูแลตนเองของผู้ป่วยโรความดันโลหิตสูงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 (P < 0.05) และเพศ อายุ ระดับการศึกษา อาชีพ รายได้ต่อเดือน และค่าดัชนีมวลกาย ไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการดูแลตนเองของผู้ป่วยโรคความดันสูง
