มื่อวันที่ 13 มิถุนายน 2555 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครราชสีมา จัดให้มีพิธีอัญเชิญตราพระราชลัญจกร เพื่อเป็นการต้อนรับนักศึกษาใหม่ ชั้นปีที่ 1 และชั้นปีที่ 3 (เทียบโอน) ประจำปีการศึกษา 2555 จำนวน 6,650 คน ณ ลานธรรมเฉลิมพระเกียรติ และสนามฟุตบอล ซึ่งเริ่มพิธีโดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เศาวนิต เศาณานนท์ อธิการบดี ประธานในพิธีจุดธูปเทียนบูชาพระรัตนตรัย นายกองค์การบริหารนักศึกษา กล่าวรายงาน ประธานกล่าวให้โอวาทและเจิมมงคลให้แก่ ประธานสภานักศึกษา นายกองค์การบริหารนักศึกษา และนายกสโมสรคณะ
จากนั้นอธิการบดีอัญเชิญตราพระราชลัญจกรจากแท่นประดิษฐานมอบให้แก่นายกองค์การบริหารนักศึกษา ขบวนอัญเชิญตราพระราชลัญจกร เคลื่อนผ่านแถวนักศึกษาจากลานธรรมเฉลิมพระเกียรติฯ ไปจนถึงสนามฟุตบอล ต่อด้วยการอัญเชิญตราพระราชลัญจกรประดิษฐานหน้าพระบรมฉายาลักษณ์ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ประธานเปิดกรวยธูปเทียนแพและถวายเครื่องราชสักการะ ประธานกล่าวถวายราชสดุดี แล้วจึงเป็นการแสดงเทิดพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว จำนวน 3 ชุด จากโปรแกรมวิชานาฏศิลป์ ประธานพร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัย มอบเข็มเครื่องหมายตราพระราชลัญจกรให้แก่นักศึกษาใหม่ ต่อด้วยการถวายบังคมพร้อมกันและการถวายสัตย์ปฏิภาณตน ของนักศึกษาทุกคณะ ในฐานะ "คนของพระราชา ข้าของแผ่นดิน" เพื่อแสดงถึงพลังแห่งความจงรักภักดีต่อชาติ ศาสน์ กษัตริย์ ของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครราชสีมา ที่มีความมุ่งมั่นจะพัฒนาตนเอง สังคม และประเทศชาติ
ปิดท้ายด้วยการร้องเพลงสรรเสริญพระบารมี และเพลงสดุดีมหาราชา พร้อมทั้งรุ่นพี่ล้อมวงบูมมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครราชสีมา เพื่อเป็นการต้อนรับน้องใหม่อย่างเป็นทางการจึงเป็นอันเสร็จพิธีอัญเชิญตราพระราชลัญจกร ประจำปีการศึกษา 2555
ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เศาวนิต เศาณานนท์ อธิการบดี กล่าวว่า การจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้เพื่อแสดงให้เห็นถึงความจงรักภักดีต่อพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ที่ทรงมีพระมหากรุณาธิคุณล้นเกล้าล้นกระหม่อมกับชาวราชภัฏ พระองค์ทรงพระราชทานตราพระราชลัญจกร ประจำพระองค์มาเป็นตราประจำมหาวิทยาลัย นอกจากจะร่วมกันสำนึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณต่อพระองค์แล้วนักศึกษาควรปฏิบัติตนอยู่ในความดี ตั้งใจศึกษาเล่าเรียน เพื่อจะได้นำความรู้ที่ได้รับไปใช้ในการพัฒนาประเทศ และช่วยเหลือประชาชน เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชสักการะแด่ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ให้สมกับเป็น "คนของพระราชา ข้าของแผ่นดิน"
