มหาวิทยาลัยธุรกิจบัณฑิตย์ ได้รับรางวัลระบบการประกันคุณภาพการศึกษาภายในสถานศึกษา ระดับอุดมศึกษา ประเภทดีเลิศ ประจำปี 2551-2552 จากสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการอุดมศึกษา โดยเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยเอกชนแห่งเดียวของประเทศที่ได้รับรางวัลประเภทดีเลิศในปีนี้ ทั้งนี้มีมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ได้รับรางวัลประเภทดีเลิศในครั้งนี้ด้วย
