วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย
ขั้นตอนการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการ
ในการศึกษาวิจัยเรื่อง Reality and Its Relationships to Brains and Minds in Terms of Perceptions ผู้วิจัยได้แบ่งขั้นตอนการดำเนินการเชิงปฏิบัติการ ออกเป็น 5 ขั้นตอน ดังนี้
1) ขั้นประสบการณ์ (Experiencing)
เป็นขั้นลงมือหรือทำกิจกรรมตามสภาพจริง เช่น การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล การสัมภาษณ์ การวิเคราะห์หรือการปฏิบัติการจริง
2) ขั้นนำเสนอและแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ (Publishing)
เป็นขั้นของการพูด-การเขียน เช่น นำข้อมูลที่ได้จากขั้นประสบการณ์มานำเสนอ ซึ่งอาจได้ทั้งการพูดและการเขียน พร้อมนำเสนอด้วยปากเปล่า



3) ขั้นอภิปรายผล (Discussing)
เป็นขั้นของการอภิปรายซักถาม เพื่อความเข้าใจที่แจ่มชัดและเพื่อให้ได้แนวคิดต่อการประยุกต์ใช้ เป็นขั้นตอนที่ทั้งผู้วิจัยและผู้ให้สัมภาษณ์ได้มีส่วนร่วมในการตั้งคำถามเพื่ออภิปรายร่วมกัน
4) ขั้นสรุปพาดพิง (Generalizing)
เป็นขั้นของการสรุปผลการเรียนรู้จากทั้ง 3 ขั้นข้างต้น โดยสรุปพาดพิงสู่หลักการหรือสู่
มุมมองหรือแบบแผนที่กว้างขวางขึ้น อาจร่วมกันสรุปหรือแต่ละคนสรุปก็ได้
ในขั้นนี้นับเป็นการสร้างองค์ความรู้ได้ด้วยตนเองโดยผ่านประสบการณ์หรือการลงมือกระทำ
5) ขั้นประยุกต์ใช้ (Applying)
เป็นขั้นของการนำสิ่งที่ได้จากการเรียนรู้ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน ซึ่งอาจจัดทำในรูปของโครงการ การทดลอง การปรับใช้กับชีวิตประจำวัน การแก้ปัญหาหรือการค้นคว้าวิจัยต่อไป ซึ่งถือเป็นการลงมือกระทำ/ปฏิบัติ เป็นวงจรต่อไป
