“การเปิดให้คำปรึกษาด้านกฎหมายทั่วไปครั้งนี้ เป็นการให้บริการฟรี ไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายใด ๆ เพราะต้องการช่วยเหลือชาวบ้านให้มีความรู้เบื้องต้นเกี่ยวกับกฎหมาย เนื่องจากปัจจุบันพบว่าประชาชนยังขาดความรู้ความเข้าใจทางด้านกฎหมายทั่วไปอยู่มาก ทำให้บางครั้งตกเป็นเหยื่อของผู้ไม่หวังดี และทำให้ต้องเสียเงินเสียทองจำนวนมาก” นางสาววีรุทัย กล่าว




นางสาววีรุทัย มณีนุชเนตร กรรมการบริหารสมาคมบัณฑิตสตรีทางกฎหมายแห่งประเทศไทยในพระบรมราชินูปถัมภ์ อดีตที่ปรึกษากิตติมศักดิ์ประจำคณะกรรมาธิการการพัฒนาสังคม และกิจการเด็กสตรี ผู้ด้อยโอกาส ผู้สูงอายุ วุฒิสภา กล่าวว่า สิ่งที่ทรงพลังมากที่สุดในการเปลี่ยนแปลงประเทศไทยคือการพัฒนาด้านการศึกษาแก่เด็กและเยาวชน นับเป็นวาระที่2 ที่ตนได้รับมอบหมายให้ลงพื้นที่บรรยายายส่งเสริมความรู้แก่เด็กและเยาวชนไทยชนเผ่าต่างๆ เช่น ไทยใหญ่ ม้ง มูเซอ กะเหรี่ยง ปะโอ ลีซอ อาข่า โรงเรียนราชประชานุเคราะห์ และโรงเรียนสังวาลย์วิทยา ในท้องถิ่นทุรกันดารภาคเหนือเริ่มต้นที่ จังหวัดตาก อ.แม่แจ่ม อ.เมือง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ อ.แม่สะเรียง อ.แม่ลาน้อย อ.ปางมะพ่า อ.ปาย จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน รวม7โรงเรียน  ในส่วนภาคเหนือเด็กและเยาวชน 16โรงเรียน คณะครู เข้าร่วมเข้าฟังการบรรยายรวมจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 15,000 คน




โครงการดังกล่าวจัดทำขึ้นเพื่อ ถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว จากเด็กด้อยโอกาสสู่เด็กที่มากด้วยโอกาส  มุ่งให้เด็กและเยาวชนสำนึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณของสมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราพระบรมราชชนนี ซึ่งพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ตระหนักถึงพระปณิธานอันแน่วแน่ในด้านการศึกษาที่ทรงมีต่อพสกนิกรชาวไทยและชนเผ่าต่างๆที่อาศัยบนพื้นแผ่นไทยนับเป็นพระมหากรุณาธิคุณ ที่ทรงมีต่อเด็กและเยาวชนในท้องถิ่นชนบทห่างไกลเป็นล้นพ้น

นางสาววีรุทัย กล่าวอีกว่า ตนมีความประสงค์ให้เด็กและเยาวชนทุกเพศทุกวัยทุกเชื้อชาติได้เรียนรู้โดยทั่วถึง การควบคุมสถานการณ์ขณะที่บรรยายรวมถึงการเสริมสร้างสมาธิ เพื่อปรับทัศนคติเพิ่มการเรียนรู้ด้านกฎหมายและตระหนักถึงเหตุการณ์ปัญหาที่เกิดจริงในสังคมเมืองจึงเป็นเรื่องที่ต้องให้ความสำคัญ และจากการบรรยายพบว่าเด็กได้ให้ความสำคัญ ตื่นตัว และกระตือรือล้นในการเรียนรู้เป็นอย่างมาก
