เทศกาลกินเจหาดใหญ่เป็นงานประจำปีของอำเภอหาดใหญ่และจังหวัดสงขลา เป็นเทศกาลของชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนโดยผู้ที่เข้าร่วมถือศีลกินเจ ต้องรับประทานอาหารที่เป็นผักปราศจากเนื้อสัตว์และเครื่องปรุงที่มีกลิ่นฉุนและคาว ความหมายของการกินเจ ไม่เพียงแต่ไม่ทานเนื้อสัตว์ แต่ยังต้องดำรงตนอยู่ในศีลอันดีงาม มีความบริสุทธิ์ สะอาด ทั้งกาย วาจา ใจ นอกจากยี้ภายในงานยังมีกิจกรรมการแสดงบนเวที แข่งขันกินอาหารเจ การสาธิตปรุงอาหารสูตรพิเศษ “เมนู 9 มงคล” จากเหล่าคนดัง การประกวดหนูน้อยสมบูรณ์ การประกวดธิดา และกิจกรรมอื่นๆ อีกมากมาย
