พระราชบัญญัติสิทธิบัตร (ฉบับที่ ๓) พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๒ โดยผลของมาตรา 2 ของพราราชบัญญัตินี้ จะทำให้บทบัญญัติต่างๆ มีผลใช้บังคับเมื่อพ้นกำหนด 180 วัน นับแต่วันประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษาเป็นต้นไป (ประกาศในวันที่ 31 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2542)
