การศึกษานี้เป็นการวิเคราะห์ทุติยมาน (secondary
analysis) ด้วยวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแบบบรรยาย (descriptive
qualitative methods) โดยใช้ข้อมูลปฐมภูมิ (primary data)
จากโครงการวิจัยเรื่อง “การปฎิบัติของครอบครัวไทยในการดูแลเด็กโรคหัวใจพิการแต่กำเนิดในระยะก่อนผ่าตัดหัวใจ”

ประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่าง
กลุ่มตัวอย่างได้แก่ บิดา มารดา และ/หรือสมาชิกครอบครัว ซึ่งเป็นผู้ดูแลหลักของเด็กโรคหัวใจ และพาเด็ก
