จากที่ได้อ่านหนังสือ เรื่อง David Copperfield เป็นหนังสือที่ดีมากๆ โดยเรื่องนี้นำเสนอเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับชีวิตเด็กคนหนึ่งที่ชื่อDavidเขาสู้ชีวิตเป็นอย่างมาก หนังสือเรื่องนี้สอนอะไรหลายๆอย่างแถมสะท้อนสังคมเป็นอย่างยิ่ง โดยหนังสือเล่มนี้มีประมาณ 10 บท แต่ละบทก็จะนำเสนอช่วงชีวิตของDavid ที่สำคัญจากที่อ่านตั้งแต่บท1ก็รู้สึกเห็นใจเพราะเขาน่าสงสารตั้งแต่เด็ก ผู้เขียนเขียนได้ดีและเห็นภาพมาก Davidต้องสู้ชีวิตตั้งแต่อายุ8ขวบ ซึ่งย้อนกลับมาดูตัวเองเมื่อช่วงเวลานั้นเรายังเด็กมากๆไม่ต้องมาพบอะไรแบบDavid และนั่งถามตัวเองว่าถ้าเป็นเราจะอดทนแบบDavidได้ไหม เมื่อได้อ่านก็พบว่าหนังสือเรื่องนี้ไม่ได้มีแต่ความเศร้ายังมีความสุข ความสนุก ความตื่นเต้น ความเมตตา มิตรภาพ ความรัก ความโรแมนติก เรียกได้ว่ามีความรู้สึกครบทุกอย่าง ทำให้อ่านแล้วรู้สึกไม่น่าเบื่อเลย ทำให้เราได้ลุ้นตลอดว่าDavidจะพบกับอะไรอีก คือทุกอย่างกำลังจะดีแต่ต่อมาDavidต้องสูญเสียอีกแล้ว เรื่องนี้สอนการใช้ชีวิตของเราในโลกแห่งความเป็นจริงมาก ไม่ว่าจะเป็นความพยายาม ความอดทน การไม่ย่อท้อต่อปัญหาที่พบ การมองโลกในทุกแง่มุม ทุกคนไม่ได้มีชีวิตสวยหรู มีความสุขก็ต้องมีความทุกข์ มีความผิดหวังมีสมหวังปะปนกันไป ถือว่าเป็นหนังสือที่น่าอ่านและน่าสนใจเล่มหนึ่ง
