บทคัดย่อ

โครงงานภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น เรื่อง เสื่อกกทอมือ ในตำบลโคกสี จังหวัดขอนแก่น มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาประวัติความเป็นมาของการทอเสื่อกก เพื่อให้รู้จักขั้นตอนวิธีการทอเสื่อกก เพื่อสืบทอดและดำรงรักษาภูมิปัญญาการทอเสื่อกกให้คงอยู่ตลอดไป และเพื่อเผยแพร่ภูมิปัญญาการทอเสื่อกกให้แพร่หลาย กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ ชาวบ้านหนองไร่ หมู่ที่ ๖ ตำบลลุ่มลำชี อำเภอบ้านเขว้า จังหวัดชัยภูมิ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้วิธีการสัมภาษณ์
ผลของการศึกษา เรื่อง การทอเสื่อกก ทำให้ได้ทราบว่า การทอเสื่อกกมีการสืบทอดมาตั้งแต่สมัย ปู่ย่า ตายาย โดยเริ่มแรกมีการใช้กกเหลี่ยม หรือที่เรียกว่าผือนา ยังไม่มีการย้อมสีผลิตภัณฑ์ หรือทำลวดลาย ส่วนใหญ่นำมาใช้ในครัวเรือน ส่วนในปัจจุบันนิยมใช้กกกลมมาใช้แทนกกเหลี่ยม เนื่องจาก หาง่ายในแหล่งธรรมชาติ และเมื่อนำมาทอเสื่อแล้ว มีคุณสมบัติเหนียว และเป็นมันวาว ผู้เรียนได้เกิดความตระหนักและเห็นคุณค่าภูมิปัญญาการทอเสื่อกก สมาชิกในกลุ่มมีความสามัคคีในการปฏิบัติงานอย่างดี ทำให้ได้เอกสารเกี่ยวกับการทอเสื่อกกไว้เผยแพร่ และใช้เป็นแนวทางในการทำโครงงานอื่น ๆแก่ผู้สนใจ
