วัดเสนาสนารามราชวรวิหาร เดิมชื่อวัดเสื่อ เป็นพระอารามหลวงชั้นเอก ชนิดราชวรวิหาร ตั้งอยู่ตำบลหัวรอ อำเภอพระนครศรีอยุธยา จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา สร้างตั้งแต่สมัยกรุงศรีอยุธยา ได้รับการปฏิสังขรณ์โดยพระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 4 โดยปฏิสังขรณ์ทั้งวัด แล้วเสร็จเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2406 และพระราชทานนามใหม่ว่า วัดเสนาสนาราม เป็นวัดธรรมยุติกนิกาย
