บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษาวิจัย เรื่อง การพัฒนาการศึกษาในพื้นที่เขตพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจพิเศษตาก : กรณีศึกษาแผนยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนาการศึกษา เทศบาลนครแม่สอด มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษา ดังนี้ เพื่อศึกษาความสำคัญและขั้นตอนในการจัดทำแผนยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนาการศึกษา เพื่อศึกษายุทธศาสตร์และแนวทางในการพัฒนาการศึกษาของเทศบาลนครแม่สอด การศึกษานี้ใช้การศึกษาจากเอกสารทางวิชาการ และการสัมภาษณ์แบบไม่เป็นทางการ เป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บข้อมูล
ผลจากการศึกษาพบว่า ในขั้นตอนการจัดทำแผน แผนได้ถูกจัดทำเป็นร่างของแผนยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนาการศึกษา แต่ยังไม่ได้ถูกนำเสนอต่อคณะกรรมการการศึกษา เพื่ออนุมัติและประกาศใช้ เพราะความไม่สมบูรณ์ของแผน และความสำคัญของแผน คือ แผนเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของเทศบาลนครแม่สอดที่กำหนดเป้าหมายในทางการศึกษาอนาคต มีความสอดคล้องต่อพื้นที่ที่เป็นเขตเศรษฐกิจพิเศษตาก ยุทธศาสตร์และแนวทางการพัฒนาภายในแผนมีความสอดคล้องกับนโยบายและทิศทางการพัฒนาประเทศ รวมไปถึงทางด้านการศึกษาของชาติ การพัฒนาระบบการบริหารและการพัฒนาคุณภาพการจัดการศึกษาของสถานศึกษาเป็นการพัฒนาทางการศึกษาในการเตรียมความพร้อมทางด้านบุคลากร ที่จะเพิ่มทักษะ ความรู้ ความสามารถ สู่การประกอบอาชีพ เป็นการสนองต่อการเป็นเขตเศรษฐกิจพิเศษตาก
