การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบปริมาณแก๊สชีวภาพที่เกิดจากการหมักใบยางพาราร่วมกับมูลโค และมูลสุกร โดยในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ใช้แผนการทดลองแบบสุ่มตลอด ตัวแปรอิสระที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ วัสดุที่ใช้ในการหมัก ประกอบด้วย ใบยางพาราร่วมกับมูลโค และใบยางพาราร่วมกับมูลสุกร ทำการหมักจำนวน 3 ครั้ง ครั้งละ 7 วัน ผลการทดลองพบว่า
1. ปริมาณแก๊สชีวภาพที่ได้จากการหมัก พบว่าการหมักใบยางพาราร่วมกับมูลโคมีเท่ากับ 5,278.55 cm3 และการหมักใบยางพาราร่วมกับมูลสุกรมีค่าเท่ากับ 6,592.82 cm3
2. แก๊สของการหมักใบยางพาราร่วมกับมูลสุกรติดไฟได้นานถึง 11.74 นาที และคุณภาพแก๊สที่ได้จากการหมักใบยางพาราร่วมกับมูลโคติดไฟนานถึง 8.83 นาที แก๊สที่ได้จากการหมักใบยางพาราร่วมกับมูลสุกรให้ความร้อนต่อปริมาณที่ได้จากการหมัก 30.93 kJ และใบยางพาราร่วมกับมูลโคให้ความร้อนต่อปริมาณที่ได้จากการหมัก 25.91 kJ
