พันธกิจ

สาขาวิชาการศึกษาปฐมวัย คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒ มุ่งการพัฒนาตนเป็นผู้นำทางการศึกษาปฐมวัย ด้านความเป็นเลิศทางวิชาการ และการสร้างความเป็นนักวิชาชีพด้านการศึกษาปฐมวัย ดังนี้
1. พัฒนาสมรรถนะทางวิชาการของนิสิต เพื่อให้มีความสามารถจัดการเรียนการสอน
2. จัดให้มีการปรับปรุงหลักสูตรทุกระดับให้สอดคล้องกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคม วิทยาการและเทคโนโลยี
3. ส่งเสริมให้คณาจารย์จัดทำเอกสารทางวิชาการ เพื่อใช้เป็นตำราประกอบการสอนในแต่ละรายวิชา
4. สร้างความร่วมมือกับศิษย์เก่า สถาบันการศึกษา สถาบันอื่นๆ ทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ
5. จัดบริการความรู้สู่ชุมชน ด้วยการรับเชิญเป็นวิทยากร จัดทำวารสารการศึกษาปฐมวัยเพื่อเผยแพร่ความรู้
