ปราสาทภูมิโปน

ตั้งอยู่ที่บ้านภูมิโปน ตำบลดม อำเภอสังขะ ห่างจากอำเภอสังขะประมาณ 10 กม. ตามเส้นทาง สายสังขะ-บัวเชด ปราสาทภูมิโปนนี้เป็นปราสาทขอมแบบไพรกเมง ซึ่งมีอายุราวพุทธศตวรรษที่ 12-13 ลักษณะเป็นปรางค์รูปสี่เหลี่ยมก่อด้วยอิฐ ฐานก่อด้วย ศิลาแลง ย่อมุมไม้สิบสอง กว้าง 5.70 เมตร มีประตูเสาและทับหลัง ห่างจากฐานปรางค์มาทางตะวันตก มีฐานวิหาร 1 หลัง และห่างออกไปทางตะวันตกถึง 32 เมตร มีวิหารอีกหลังหนึ่ง ปราสาทภูมิโปนเป็นปราสาทที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดของจังหวัดสุรินทร์ และเก่าแก่กว่าหลายๆ แห่งของภาคอีสาน
