เนื่องจากผลการเรียนการสอน และชื่อเส

เนื่องจากผลการเรียนการสอน และชื่อเสียงของโรงเรียนพณิชยการบางนา ในด้านระเบียบวินัย ความประพฤติของนักเรียน ประกอบกับความต้องการของประชาชนที่จะศึกษาต่อ ในระดับ สูงขึ้นมีจำนวนมาก กรมอาชีวศึกษาจึงได้ประกาศยกฐานะ โรงเรียนพณิชยการบางนาขึ้นเป็น “วิทยาลัยพณิชยการบางนา” เมื่อวันที่ 4 มิถุนายน 2517 เปิดสอนนักเรียนและนักศึกษา 2 ระดับ คือ ระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย (ม.ศ.6) สายอาชีพ และระดับประโยควิชาชีพชั้นสูง (ปวส.) นับเวลาตั้งแต่เริ่มเปิดดำเนินการสอนจนเปลี่ยนระดับยกฐานะเป็นวิทยาลัยในเวลาเพียง 4 ปีเท่านั้น

เมื่อโรงเรียนได้รับการยกฐานะเป็นวิทยาลัย ดร.ไพศาลย์ จามรมาน อาจารย์ใหญ่ ได้รับการแต่งตั้งเป็น “ผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัย” นับเป็นบุญกุศลมหาศาลของวิทยาลัยพณิชยการบางนา และเป็นหนี้บุญคุณต่อตระกูล “รุ่งแสง” และ “รุ่งเรือง” เป็นอย่างมากที่ได้กรุณาบริจาคที่ดินให้จัดตั้งโรงเรียนพณิชยการบางนา ดังที่ทราบกันดีอยู่แล้วของชาวพณิชยการบางนา และในโอกาสที่ได้รับการยกฐานะเป็นวิทยาลัย คุณบุญนาค-คุณสุเทพ รุ่งแสง ยังมีศรัทธาต่อการศึกษาวิชาชีพจึงได้มอบที่ดินให้แก่วิทยาลัยฯ อีก 4 ไร่ โดยมอบให้ คุณชนะ รุ่งแสง (บุตร) เป็นผู้ดำเนินการ

เมื่อวันที่ 19 พฤษภาคม 2518 กรมอาชีวศึกษาได้แต่งตั้ง นายสำลี บุษสาย อาจารย์เอกวิทยาลัยพณิชยการพระนคร (ขณะนั้น) มารักษาการผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยสืบแทน ดร.ไพศาลย์ จามรมาน ซึ่งขอย้ายไปประจำกรม เนื่องจากสุขภาพไม่สมบูรณ์

เมื่อวิทยาลัยพณิชยการบางนาได้รับมอบที่ดินเพิ่มเติมจำนวน 4 ไร่ ดังกล่าวแล้ว กรมอาชีวศึกษาได้ขอตั้งงบประมาณจำนวน 15 ล้านบาท ในงบประมาณปี 2519 เพื่อทำการก่อสร้างอาคารเรียนและในการดำเนินการประกวดราคานั้น ผู้ประกวดราคาได้ในวงเงิน 15,300,000 บาท (สิบห้าล้านสามแสนบาทถ้วน) วิทยาลัยฯ จึงได้นำเงินบำรุงการศึกษาจำนวน 300,000 บาท (สามแสนบาทถ้วน) เข้าสมบทในการก่อสร้างและในวันที่ 4 พฤษภาคม 2519 ได้เรียนเชิญคุณบุญนาค-คุณสุเทพ รุ่งแสง คุณละออ รุ่งเรือง มาเป็นพิธีวางศิลาฤกษ์อาคารหลังใหม่ 4 ชั้น ในที่ดินดังกล่าว

การดำเนินงานและบริหารราชการของวิทยาลัยพณิชการบางนาในระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2518 เป็นระยะเวลา 8 ปีเศษ ซึ่งมีนายสำลี บุษสาย เป็นผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยฯ นั้นได้เจริญก้าวหน้ามาเป็นลำดับจนถึงวันที่ 1 ตุลาคม 2526 กรมอาชีวศึกษาได้มีคำสั่งโยกย้ายและสับเปลี่ยนผู้บริหารวิทยาลัยฯ โดยแต่งตั้งให้ นายสำลี บุษสาย ไปเป็นผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพณิชยการธนบุรีและให้ ดร.ศรีสง่า กรรณสูต ผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยอินทราชัย มาดำรงตำแหน่งผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพณิชยการบางนา แต่เนื่องจาก ดร.ศรีสง่า กรรณสูต ได้ลาออกจากราชการเพื่อไปประกอบอาชีพส่วนตัว จึงทำให้ตำแหน่งผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพณิชยการบางนาว่างลง

วันที่ 1 พฤศจิกายน 2526 กรมอาชีวศึกษาได้แต่งตั้งให้ นายประทีป ปฐมกสิกุล มาดำรงตำแหน่ง ผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพณิชยการบางนา และต่อมาได้มีการประกวดราคาก่อสร้างอาคาร 6 ชั้น ในวงเงินประมาณ 10,542,000 บาท (สิบล้านห้าแสนสี่หมื่นสองพันบาทถ้วน) และใน พ.ศ. 2528 กรมอาชีวศึกษา ได้อนุมัติให้จัดซื้อที่ดินเพิ่มเติมอีกเป็นจำนวน 7 ไร่ 2 งาน 95 ตารางวา ด้วยเงินบำรุงการศึกษาในราคา 12,380,000 บาท (สิบสองล้านสามแสนแปดหมื่นบาทถ้วน) รวมเป็นเนื้อที่ทั้งหมด 22 ไร่ 3 งาน 18 ตารางวา และในปีการศึกษา 2529 วิทยาลัยพณิชยการบางนาได้รับโล่เกียรติยศจากกรมอาชีวศึกษา ให้เป็น “สถานศึกษาเร่งรัดพัฒนาดีเด่น”

วันที่ 1 ตุลาคม 2530 กรมอาชีวศึกษา ได้แต่งตั้งให้ นายพิพัฒน์ บุญญาสัย มาดำรงตำแหน่งผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพณิชยการบางนา และในปีการศึกษา 2531 วิทยาลัยฯ ได้รับโล่รางวัลจากสมาคมห้องสมุดแห่งประเทศไทยให้เป็น “ห้องสมุดดีเด่นของกรมอาชีวศึกษา” และได้รับโล่รางวัล “การจัดกิจกรรมจริยศึกษาดีเด่นของกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ” พร้อมทั้งได้รับการเสนอชื่อเพื่อคัดเลือกเป็นสถานศึกษาดีเด่นของกองวิทยาลัยอาชีวศึกษากลุ่มภาคกลางอีกด้วย

ในปีการศึกษา 2532 วิทยาลัยฯ ได้จัดสร้างพระพุทธรูปประจำวิทยาลัยขึ้น โดยตั้งชื่อว่า “พระพุทธสิริศิกษกบางนามหามงคล” โดยมีผู้บริจาคค่าก่อสร้างทั้งสิ้น 264,505.50 บาท (สองแสนหกหมื่นสี่พันห้าร้อยบาทห้าสิบสตางค์) และได้อนุมัติจัดสร้างอาคารเรียนเฉลิมพระเกียรติ 7 ชั้น ขึ้น 1 หลัง ในวงเงินงบประมาณ 28,270,000 บาท (ยี่สิบแปดล้านสองแสนเจ็ดหมื่นบาทถ้วน) และเงินบำรุงการศึกษา 10,000,000 บาท (สิบล้านบาทถ้วน) รวมเป็นเงินทั้งสิ้น 38,270,000 บาท (สามสิบแปดล้านสองแสนเจ็ดหมื่นบาทถ้วน) เพื่อใช้เป็นสถานที่ฝึกปฏิบัติด้านการตลาด บัญชี คอมพิวเตอร์ ภาษาอังกฤษ และเลขานุการ นอกจากนี้ยังได้ของอนุมัติจัดสร้างคูหาลูกเสือวิสามัญ 1 หลัง ในวงเงินงบประมาณ 2,100,000 บาท (สองล้านหนึ่งแสนบาทถ้วน) เพื่อใช้เป็นสถานที่ทำการของกองลูกเสือของวิทยาลัยพณิชยการบางนา

วันที่ 1 ตุลาคม 2536 กรมอาชีวศึกษา ได้แต่งตั้งให้ นายวิเชิด ผาสุข มาดำรงตำแหน่งผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพณิชยการบางนา และได้จัดสร้างโรงอาหารและหอประชุมขึ้น 1 หลัง มีพื้นที่ 4,800 ตารางเมตร โดยได้รับงบประมาณ 25,792,000 บาท (ยี่สิบห้าล้านเจ็ดแสนเก้าหมื่นสองพันบาทถ้วน)
