จากการศึกษาหัวข้อดังกล่าวได้ทำการศึกษาค้นคว้าเกี่ยวกับเรื่องจุลินทรีย์และออกแบบการทดลองเพื่อให้ทราบว่าอาหารประเภทกลุ่มตัวอย่างใดที่จุลินทรีย์มีการเจริญเติบโตได้ดีมากกว่ากันโดยการนำอาหารกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ซึ่งทำการแบ่งประเภทอาหารออกเป็น 2 ประเภท ได้แก่ ประเภทคาร์โบไฮเดรตและโปรตีน เพื่อให้ครอบคลุมมากยิ่งขึ้นอาหารทั้ง 2 ประเภทจึงมีอาหารตัวอย่าง ประเภทละ 3 อย่าง โดยนำไปละลายในน้ำเกลือที่ผ่านการฆ่าเชื้อ จากนั้นผสมในเครื่องปั่นจนเป็นเนื้อเดียวกันแล้วเทอาหารเลี้ยงเชื้อบนจานเพาะเชื้อ นำไปบ่ม ที่อุณหภูมิห้องหรืออุณหภูมิที่กำหนด นาน 24 ชั่วโมงแล้วนับจำนวนเชื้อราที่เกิดขึ้นโดยการนับจำนวนโคโลนีแล้วบันทึกลงในตารางบันทึกผล
