เทศบาลตำบลกำแพงเข้าใจเป็นอย่างดีถึงประโยชน์จากโครงการนี้ การจัดตั้งศูนย์การเรียนรู้ในพื้นที่ชุมชนกำแพงจะส่งผลดีต่อคนในพื้นที่ เทศบาลฯ จึงยินดีให้การสนับสนุนอย่างเต็มที่ในทุกๆ ด้านŽ นายกเทศบาลมนตรีตำบลกำแพง วิชิต แซ่ลิ่ม กล่าวถึงภารกิจพันธกิจ
แนวทางการดำเนินงานของศูนย์การเรียนรู้ ICT ชุมชนแห่งนี้ เป็นการนำเอาเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศมารองรับชุมชนโดยเป็นแหล่งข้อมูลข่าวสาร รวบรวมภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น มีบทบาทในการสร้างงานสร้างอาชีพ ตลอดจนสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจของคนในชุมชน
ตลอด 3 ปี ได้เกิดกิจกรรมที่เป็นประโยชน์ เช่น การอบรมความรู้ด้านคอมพิวเตอร์ให้กับเยาวชนและประชาชน, เป็นศูนย์ข้อมูลพิพิธภัณฑ์พื้นบ้านละงู,การส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว และเผยแพร่สินค้า OTOP ประจำถิ่น ได้แก่ ชาชักสตูล ขนมโกยยา (ถั่วอัด) ขนมบุหงาบูด๊ะ และไข่มุกแท้อันดามันจากท้องทะเลสตูล
