ประวัติ
หลวงเกรียงศักดิ์พิชิต มีชื่อจริงว่า พิชิต เกรียงศักดิ์พิชิต มีนามเดิมว่า "ค้วน จิตตะคุณ" เกิดเมื่อวันอังคารที่ 20 กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2439 ตรงกับวัน 2 11ฯ 8 8 ค่ำ ปีวอก ภูมิลำเนาเดิม คลองบางกอบัว อำเภอพระประแดง จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ บิดาชื่อนายจิ้น มารดาชื่อนางเพียร

ถึงแก่อนิจกรรม ด้วยโรคมะเร็งลำไส้ใหญ่ เมื่อวันพุธที่ 29 กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2507 ตรงกับวัน 4 ฯ5 8 8 ค่ำ ปีมะโรง สิริอายุได้ 68 ปี 9 วัน
