In Sirindhorn School, we have ASEAN Study Center to promote about ASEAN regularly. The main aims are to equip students with information about ASEAN and AEC; and to prepare students to be ready for the event. This is to say that Sirindhorn School tries our best to raise students’ awareness that we are now a member of Association of Southeast Asian Nation (ASEAN); and we will join in ASEAN Economic Community with in December 2015. As students, we would like to help spread the information and raise our friends’ awareness of the joining of AEC. We think we could do something about this. We brainstormed to have the ideas and we listed all the ideas we can think of. After grouping the ideas together, we’ve found that the twelve core values were one of the outstanding topics in our listed ideas. Under the idea that students took the twelve core values as their code of conduct, the values will help us to be good member of our community, society, and country. The twelve core values guide ways of living, studying, working, and spending our money. These are the reasons why we think the twelve core values is one of the key elements to help prepare Sirindhorn School students to be ready for AEC 2015.
